 The human body nervous system
The nervous system: the _____a____, ______b____ and ____c____ is a living communications network carrying various kinds of messages to and from the different parts of your body. The nervous system is composed of nerve fibers that _________d_________ into your spinal cord and brain and the other _____e_____ that send the information out to different parts of your body.
The cells that make up the various parts of the nervous system are called ___f____. Each neuron has a neuron body, a part of the cell which contains a ____g___ and other structures, but a typical neuron has two other kinds of structures: long fibers that extend in different directions from the body of the cell, these fibers are often wrapped with a fatty substance called ___h____. Fibers that carry impulses toward the neuron body are called _____i_____.  Fibers that carry impulses away are called ____j_____. Different structures are concentrated in different parts of the body. Some neuron bodies are bound into clusters called ganglia, they are often associated with your ____k_____. The spinal cord is a long cylinder of ______l____ that passes through the hollow channels of bones called the _____m_____. The spinal cord is protected by those vertebrae. It is also protected by ______n_______ called meninges.

    The human body nervous system

The nervous system: the a)brain, b)spinal cord and c)nerves is a living communications network carrying various kinds of messages to and from the different parts of your body. The nervous system is composed of nerve fibers that d)conduct the information into your spinal cord and brain and the other e)nerve fibers that send the information out to different parts of your body.
The cells that make up the various parts of the nervous system are called f)neurons. Each neuron has a neuron body, a part of the cell which contains a g)nucleus and other structures, but a typical neuron has two other kinds of structures: long fibers that extend in different directions from the body of the cell, these fibers are often wrapped with a fatty substance called h)myelin. Fibers that carry impulses toward the neuron body are called i)dendrites. Fibers that carry impulses away are called j)axons. Different structures are concentrated in different parts of the body. Some neuron bodies are bound into clusters called ganglia, they are often associated with your k)spinal cord. The spinal cord is a long cylinder of l)nerve tissue that passes through the hollow channels of bones called the m)vertebrae. The spinal cord is protected by those vertebrae. It is also protected by n)three membranes, called meninges.

1-A neuron is an electrically excitable cell that processes and transmits information by electrical and chemical signaling.
    2-nucleous, dendrites and axon
3-Dendrites are the branched projections of a neuron that act to conduct the electrochemical stimulation received from other neural cells to the cell body, or soma, of the neuron from which the dendrites project.
4-An axon (also known as a nerve fiber) is a long, slender projection of a nerve cell, or neuron, that typically conducts electrical impulses away from the neuron's cell body or soma.
5-The spinal cord is a long, thin, tubular bundle of nervous tissue and support cells that extends from the brain (the medulla oblongata specifically).
